Local Labor Donates 900 Hams to Families in Need During the Holidays

We have an ongoing tradition that happens during the holidays. Various Labor Unions pool funds to buy truckloads of hams from a Union organized grocery in Castle Rock, WA. This year we expanded the pool of labor unions to include a total of 24 organization's, resulting in a record breaking donation of $14,877, 900 individual hams, and 4814 lbs.

Ilona Kerby the Executive Director of CAP can be seen in the video below expressing gratitude for the partnership but also offered this insight off camera, "2023 has been especially challenging for people on fixed incomes such as the elderly and community generosity means alot towards helping them make ends meet."
