Apply to Attend the 2025 Tradeswomen Build Nations Conference in Chicago!

Eight sponsorships are available to fund Local 48 members to attend the 2025 Tradeswomen Build Nations conference in Chicago! Sponsored attendees will receive paid time loss, a per diem, and a conference t-shirt.

Ideally we are looking for members who have not previously attended the conference, and members who are new to Local 48.

Applications are open until May 2nd. There are two different application processes:

JOURNEYMEN & MATERIAL HANDLERS APPLICATION PROCESS:
Complete the form on the second page of the Tradeswomen Build Nations Flyer and e-mail it to Lillian Killen at lillian@ibew48.com.

APPRENTICE APPLICATION PROCESS:
Complete the Apprentice Conference Scholarship Application online form.

Pre-conference activities will include a meet and greet at the Hawthorne Asylum Food Carts on Friday, June 20th, and a meeting at the Local 48 Meeting Hall on Monday, September 15th.
