Howard L. Cook
Howard Lee Cook, 69, of Grants Pass died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at his home.
No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Dec. 9, 1943, in Willits, Calif., to Luther and Reba Cook. After attending high school and Santa Rosa Junior College, he enlisted in the Navy Seabees and served in Vietnam. He later returned home and joined his parents living in the Illinois Valley and worked a variety of part-time jobs. He enjoyed traveling and moved to different areas of the country, including Alaska. He had a career with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and retired from electrical work in the Portland area in 2002, when he returned to the Rogue Valley.
He was initiated into IBEW Local 48 in March 1975. He retired on January 1, 2009. Howard passed away in Grants Pass, OR on July 16, 2013.
He enjoyed building computers and photography.
Survivors include his nephew, Fred Rogers of Grants Pass.
A sister, Delores Johnson, died before him.
