James L. Edwards
James “Jim” L. Edwards passed away on September 13, 2014. He was 76 years old.
Jim was born to his parents Cecil and Amy Marie Edwards in Ellensburg, Washington on October 21, 1937. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, and spent his working life as an electrician at Far West Electric. Jim was an avid, lifetime member of the V.F.W post #824, and was a 40 year resident of Clark County. Jim enjoyed reading, the great-outdoors, fishing, and most importantly, his family. He was loved by many and will be missed.
Jim leaves behind his wife Patricia at home, two sons: Robert L. Edwards (Linda) of Birmingham, Alabama and David A. Edwards of Vancouver, daughter Ronna Anderson (Ray) of Vancouver, as well as five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, two brothers: Fred Edwards of Vancouver, and Bob Edwards of Amboy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of Jim’s life on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Camas, with a reception to follow. Those who wish may make a donation to the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, or the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Institute.
