Ronald C. Ellis

Lifelong area resident Ronald Carl Ellis Sr., 66, passed away April 21, 2015, at his Castle Rock home.  He was born Nov. 21, 1948, to George and Francis (Starks) Ellis.

Ron served in Navy from 1966 to 1970 aboard the USS Hancock and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 40 years. He was

always ready to help others by words and by deeds. He was smart, witty and kind.

Ron is survived by a son, Ronald Ellis Jr.; a granddaughter, Sadie Ann Ellis; and a niece, Danielle Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Ellis; and a sister, Beverly Ellis.

A celebration of Ron’s life, including a potluck, is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at Willow Grove Park. No balloons or perfumes please.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
