IBEW Local 48 Website Gets A Makeover

The Goal: Support IBEW Members

In an effort to improve visitors’ experience and make it easier find and utilize the many benefits available to IBEW Local 48’s certified electrician members, the Local 48 underwent a recent website update that focuses on streamlining content, enhancing visitor engagement, and highlighting IBEW activities and events.

IBEW Local 48 has provided support, education and advocacy for electrical professionals for over 100 years. We have been successful by always finding new ways to engage with members and better serve their needs. The new site, which launched in December 2017, makes use of modern trends in photography and videography to help showcase events, engage with members, and support IBEW initiatives and recruitment. At the same time, the updated site has undergone a transformation that makes finding member resources, events, and continuing education top priorities.

Industry Advocacy

The updated site will also serve as a hub for union and non-union electrical professionals alike, providing a medium that supports thought leadership and industry excellence. The updates are already proving to be a hit with IBEW members and new apprentices, who love the easy access to career and job training opportunities.

The launch of the updated website is just one of the IBEW Local 48 Hall's efforts to support our members and promote excellence within the electrical industry.
