Looking Back at the IBEW 48 Idea for the Grand Floral Parade

Starting back in March our team began rounding up participants, and formulating a vision for the 2023 Grand Floral Parade. For a few years we have had our IBEW 48 sisters walking the route dressed as the iconic Rosie the Rivetor and doing a variety of chants and choreography throughout the parade route. The Rosies always get lots of cheers and we felt the theme was great. Well in 2023 we partnered with the Parade committee who developed the float you see in the image to host actual WWII Rosies from our area who are still beloved for their service to our country.
