George "Gordy" Hays

Gordy married Thelma Irene Baynham in 1940. He had a long career as a neon tube bender and was responsible for the "Made in Oregon" sign. Gordy loved motorcycles, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his sons, Ron and Denny. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma in 2005.

Brother Hays was initiated into LU 48 on 2/13/1940 and retired on 5/31/1982. There will be a service at Willamette National Cemetery on Thursday, August 1st at 9:30 AM.
